Adrian James ARPS

"I am a retired academic and now a freelance photographer with a wide range of photographic interests. I have been interested in photography for the past 60 years but it is only since my retirement that I have really been able to spend a significant amount of time making the kind of images that I like. I don't specialise in any particular genre, however - rather, I love to create images of scenes and situations that catch my eye and that sometimes offer an unusual perspective on the every-day, whether this be in landscapes, nature or street photography."

"I’m very happy for this show and the opportunity to share beautiful moments of nature, people, life as we know it, together with the world. I’ve only done this as a hobby and I have enjoyed it very much. Looking forward to sharing more of my work with others and connecting with other professional photographers and artists around the world."

Eloise Kitty Smith

Eloise Kitty Smith is from London, UK.

"My submitted work represents two of my favourite places. My winter image was taken on my break over Christmas that I spent at home (Essex) from University, on my walk to work. The summer image, quite contrasting, was taken the summer of '25 in Barbados.
Both taken on coloured film and both radiating qualities in which I have never felt so at peace, being away from the bustle of University to ground myself at home and the chaos of 'real life'; and escaping on holiday. There is something ethereal and mysterious about the contradiction between the two; they seem so different but in reality are much more similar than it may first come across."

Hüseyin Gün

Hüseyin Gün is a photographer based in Türkiye. His work primarily focuses on macro photography, exploring fragile and often overlooked moments within nature. Through his lens, themes of birth, transformation, and inevitable decay intertwine.

Gün’s visual language is defined by a dark, gothic, and melancholic atmosphere. He approaches natural details not merely as aesthetic elements, but as silent narrators of existence. The textures, traces, and transitional states present in his work question the delicate boundary between creation and disappearance.

The artist invites the viewer to notice the unseen and to discover depth within the ordinary. His images reveal the poetic—and at times unsettling—reality hidden within nature.

"Chianti Yellow Gaze No.4"

The photos were taken in the Chianti region, located in the provinces of Florence and Siena. Under a sunny sky, among the hills that surround the villages of Gaiole and Radda, the rows of vines alternate with oak groves and the omnipresent cypress, between warm and welcoming lights and sudden openings of sky. The typical farmhouses appear, surprising us, behind a bend in the road or on top of a hill. These solid buildings – otherwise called “master’s houses” – are often characterized by a dovecote tower, and from the 13th century they began to increasingly characterize the landscape of these areas. They are centuries-old evidence of sharecropping, but, unlike what happened in other regions, they still maintain a residential function that preserves them from degradation.

"As a shutter controller, I love recording the moment I was impressed and, sometimes, share it to the public, as a kind of meditation. Not about the professional technique, it is all about the story behind."

Ruonan Shen

Face to Face is the most sincere dialogue between humanity and nature, life, and faith. In 2024, I travelled to China's Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture for a photography expedition. This series emerged whilst journeying alongside local nomads during their seasonal migration. Here, I encountered purity, openness and profound tranquillity. The faith here inspires people to treat others with kindness, gratitude, compassion and tolerance.Humanity, nature and faith coexist in harmony, revealing the authentic essence of all things.

Facing nature head-on, one beholds life in its truest form. When confronted with such profoundly sincere ways of life, I truly came to understand that photography, for me, is a heart-to-heart encounter. Through the lens of my medium, I engage face to face with this land, with faith, and with every devout soul—meeting them and conversing with them.

"As a UK-based Iranian photographer, my work focuses on observing and capturing subtle moments that often pass unnoticed. I am particularly drawn to light, atmosphere, and the quiet details that shape everyday life. Through my photography, I aim to explore themes of contrast, mood, and the emotional presence within a scene. For me, photography is a way to pause time and translate ordinary moments into lasting visual narratives."
